Today I am thankful for:

My faith - that even though I get down, things will work out with finding a job.

My health and the fact that it's getting better every day.

My family and friends because they love me no matter what.

What are you thankful for today?

Good Morning Barb,

Today I am thankful for each and every horrible bad thing that every happened to me.  I am thankful because if I had not gone through them I would not have empathy for others and I would not be able to let them know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Each and every bad thing that has happened to me in my life (and there are many) I have been able to share part of that experience with another person with the goal to help them through it.  So it is kind of like Nancy's post about unanswered prayers.     And like thank God we don't get what we deserve!  But a few days ago I was able to share a very bad experience I had as a child with another person, not only did it help that person start to come to terms with there situation, but it brought us closer together as freinds and that is so important. 

A true freind knows your secrets and still loves you anyways!

Rhonda...how awesome you felt 'safe' enough to share your experience with another...that is so healing in itself.  My philosophy is: if I have to go thru pain and heartache, PLEASE don't let me miss the MESSAGE!!  There is something to learn everytime from our hardest experiences...there is truth in the old saying...no pain, no gain.  Not fun at the time, but oh so worth the lesson ^_^  And AMEN to us not getting what we deserve! But, then, that is exactly what God's mercy is all about ^_^  You are awesome, my friend!

Good morning, Barb....

Today I am thankful for:

I woke up, I seem to be running on a 1/4 tank this morning. I was emotionally drained last night.

I have people that renew faith, time and again.

For "true" friendship, its a scary concept to me, to trust someone enough to get close, but I will be lead by faith.

For my belief that my husband and I can get ourselves out of the hole we are in. "If you can believe it, it can come true,...."

Today I'm so thankful for my "C" on my Algebra Midterm.  I  know this may sound shallow, but I'm really struggling with this summer course and I thought for sure I failed it.  I've already registered for Intermediate Algebra in the Fall.  I'm on the Honor's List and a bad grade would hurt that. 

So, today, I'm thankful for my silly "C".

Today I am thankful for being able to do the things I could not do when I was obese and unhappy.  Such a liberating feeling!

I am thankful for:

My continued peace and serentity given to me by my Heavenly Father.

My WLS....I didn't think the weight loss meant this much....the 'blinders' are coming off! LOL

My husband, who loves me unconditionally and is my loudest cheerleader.
